Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe is actively seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. The ADON provides leadership to direct care nurses, supports clinical decisions, and ensures staffing meets safety standards.

The role collaborates with the DON and HR on hiring, participates in QAPI, ensures survey readiness, and contributes to policy development. Requires RN with 5+ years clinical psychiatric experience, 3 years in management, and Louisiana RN license.

Qualifications

• RN for at least 5 years with a minimum of 3 years of clinical psychiatric/mental health nursing care, with MSN oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee direct care nursing staff to ensure safe staffing and clinical judgment support.
• Participate in QAPI monitoring, data analysis and improvement initiatives.
