Job summary
Lakes at Lutz Health and Rehabilitation Center in Florida is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing in guiding the nursing team. You will ensure high-quality, compassionate care while supporting our mission to transform ordinary care into extraordinary outcomes.
The ADON will oversee nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and lead clinical programs.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Florida.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in healthcare.
- Knowledge of OBRA, Joint Commission, and state regulations.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Minimum 2 years of skilled nursing leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing operations in partnership with the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting regulations.
- Mentor and lead nursing staff.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical services and programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to support holistic resident care.
- Participate in Quality Assurance, Infection Control, Safety, and Leadership committees.
- Oversee training and onboarding of new nursing staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to address challenges and celebrate successes.
- Participate in surveys and accreditation visits.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
