Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in a skilled nursing facility.
• Active RN license in Illinois is REQUIRED.
• Ability to work flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing, including supervision of nursing staff and policy development.
• Assist in nursing budget development and management (labor and non-labor).
• Monitor and report on KPIs like census, revenue, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient care needs.
• Guide and coach nursing staff through orientation and training.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce re-hospitalization rates.
