Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in MA.
• Three years of long-term care supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to relate to management, employees and residents.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, development, organization and direction of nursing services.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor patient care and staff performance.
• Participate in policy development and updates for nursing services.
• Assist with staff scheduling and staffing adequacy.
• Serve as on-call clinical resource when the DON is unavailable.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality improvement activities.
