Job summary

Garden Park Care Center in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing leadership team. This is a Monday-Friday role with participation in an on-call rotation, focused on supporting staff, upholding clinical standards, and creating a positive environment for residents and employees.

The ADON will help manage day-to-day operations, provide leadership to nursing staff, assist with staffing and training, and ensure compliance with state and federal

Qualifications

• Active Ohio nurse license in good standing.
• RN preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience.
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Support the DON with day-to-day nursing operations.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and education to nursing staff.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and employee performance.
• Help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in surveys, audits, quality improvement, and clinical initiatives.
• Monitor resident care and documentation.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training nursing staff.
• Participate in the nursing leadership on-call rotation.
