Job summary

Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead clinical services and mentor nursing staff. This role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care with compassion and compliance, supporting a collaborative leadership team.

You will oversee nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with the Director of Nursing to foster a growth-minded, resident-centered environment across the campus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently registered with the State Board Examiners for Registered Nurses.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum two years in nursing supervisory or management in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing activities and ensure compliance with current rules and regulations.
• Assess and coordinate the clinical care program with the Director of Nursing Services.
• Mentor nursing staff and support ongoing Education Director initiatives.
• Lead nursing committees and ensure regulatory readiness across the facility.
• Serve as interim Director of Nursing in the DON's absence.
