Job summary

Optima Care Harborview in Hudson County, NJ, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the nursing department. This is a full-time day-shift role for an experienced RN with long-term care expertise, focused on clinical excellence and staff development.

You will mentor nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in surveys, and collaborate with facility leadership to maintain high-quality resident care and a compassionate, team-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• RN license in New Jersey is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
