Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON – LPN) to support nursing leadership and ensure high-quality resident care in our skilled nursing or assisted living communities. You will help with training the nursing team and assist the Director of Nursing in regulatory compliance and programs.

You’ll collaborate with medical staff and administrators to maintain quality standards, document care, and support a resident-centered environment while advancing nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current LPN license required.
• Knowledge of nursing home or assisted living principles, medications, and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with training, supervision, and development of nursing staff.
• Support the administration of the nursing program to maintain quality standards of resident care.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff including LPNs, CNAs, CMAs, and other care team members.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Collaborate with medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing services matters.
• Support resident assessments, care planning, documentation, and monitoring of condition changes.
• Assist with medication systems in accordance with state regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and survey readiness.
• Promote a safe, respectful, home-like environment for residents.
