Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Lakeland, FL. This full-time role supports clinical operations and staff leadership in a community-based skilled care setting.

You will supervise nursing teams, ensure compliance, mentor staff and participate in rounds. A Florida RN license and long-term care experience are required; competitive benefits accompany this leadership position.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities is required.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, multitasking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations with the Director of Nursing.
• Act as Acting Director of Nursing when needed.
• Lead a safe, high-performing workplace focused on quality care.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff ensuring policy compliance.
• Lead weekly wound care rounds and readiness for surveys.
• Serve as liaison between staff, management, residents and families.
• Drive engagement, teamwork and professional development.
