SCHOFIELD&ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in the Beech Grove, IN area. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to guide and grow a dedicated nursing team, ensuring the highest care standards for residents.

The role emphasizes mentorship, problem solving, and championing quality care within a compassionate, team‑oriented environment. A strong nursing leadership background and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license in Indiana is required.
• Minimum 1 year nursing leadership experience (LTAC experience preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing department with the DON.
• Supervise nursing staff and provide mentoring and development.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in care planning, assessments, and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care outcomes.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new nursing staff.
• Step in for the DON as needed and serve as the go‑to for staff and residents.
