Job summary

Medina Meadows is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team in Medina, Ohio. This role supports the Director of Nursing and oversees daily nursing operations to ensure the highest standard of resident care.

The ADON will mentor staff, monitor regulatory compliance, participate in care planning, and drive quality outcomes in a small, private-pay skilled nursing facility within Luxor Healthcare Group.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Ohio.
• Experience in nursing leadership or supervisory roles preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical regulations, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations of the nursing department.
• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff to uphold high resident care standards.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor resident care documentation and clinical outcomes.
• Participate in care planning, assessments, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and nursing department operations.
• Respond to resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
