Job summary

Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Yonkers, NY is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

The ADON will supervise nursing staff, oversee daily clinical operations, and participate in quality initiatives, training, and survey readiness. NY RN license and leadership experience in long-term care are required, with flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New York State.
• Prior nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adequate staffing and coverage
• Ensure compliance with NYS, DOH, and CMS regulations
• Support quality assurance, performance improvement, and infection control initiatives
• Participate in staff training, evaluations, and disciplinary processes
• Review clinical documentation and care plans for accuracy and compliance
• Support survey preparedness and response activities
• Address resident and family concerns related to nursing care
