Job summary

EPIC Healthcare is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead the clinical operations and ensure high-quality resident care. The ADON will supervise nursing staff, implement policies, and work with the Director of Nursing to drive performance and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license, has at least two years in a nursing leadership role, strong geriatric care knowledge, and proven leadership and communication skills; proficiency with electronic health record

Qualifications

Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in long-term care.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric nursing principles.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in computer documentation and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing in the overall management of clinical services.
Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Coordinate and conduct staff training and development programs.
Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys.
Provide leadership and support to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment.
