Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Health and Wellness Coordinator to manage healthcare operations for residents, ensuring quality care and supervision of nursing staff. This role offers career growth opportunities and requires an LPN or LVN license. Join a team dedicated to enriching lives.
Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, and provides quality care as their healthcare needs change. Maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, which may include assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
Assists in supervising community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education through classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manages staff schedules and oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration, conducting periodic medication inventory checks and audits per Brookdale guidelines.
Shares on-call duties as required. Requires education to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience. Must hold an LPN or LVN license.
