Job summary

Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an LPN or RN ADON-Educator to mentor and develop nursing staff, coordinate ongoing education, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold high clinical care standards within the facility.

This leadership role focuses on staff development, clinical excellence, and creating a positive, supportive team environment while advancing resident-centered care and ensuring adherence to current rules and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervision and principles of teaching.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing care facilities laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Active LPN/RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing with planning and evaluating nursing services.
• Develop and update policies and procedures for nursing operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident care to ensure continuity.
• Determine staffing needs to meet residents' nursing care requirements.
• Supervise scheduling within state guidelines.
• Ensure direct nursing care by licensed staff or aides as applicable.
• Review nurses' notes for accuracy and resident response.
• Incorporate training materials into in-service programs.
• Lead in forming goals for in-service educational programs.
