Job summary
Centurion is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. The ADON will provide clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff, reporting to the Director of Nursing and collaborating with mental health/medical leadership to enhance care for incarcerated offenders.
Schedule is Monday–Friday, days, with on-call as needed; a Missouri RN license and relevant certifications are required, with a
Qualifications
- Must hold valid RN license in Missouri. Baccalaureate Degree preferred.
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active AED/CPR certification.
- Must pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
- Progressive nursing care experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Experience in a correctional, forensic or criminal justice setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff.
- Collaborates with Director of Nursing and mental health/medical leadership to improve health care for incarcerated offenders in a correctional environment.
