Job summary

Centurion at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Missouri is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to supervise nursing and support staff, report to the Director of Nursing, and collaborate with mental health and medical leadership in a correctional setting. Must hold a Missouri RN license, with Baccalaureate preferred; TB documentation and AED/CPR certification are required.

Background checks and security clearance may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Missouri RN license; Baccalaureate Degree preferred.
• Must have current TB documentation and AED/CPR certification.
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain security clearance where applicable.
• Progressive nursing supervision experience with 5+ years preferred.
• Experience in correctional, forensic, or criminal justice environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff.
• Works under the Director of Nursing and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership to improve health care for incarcerated offenders.
