Job summary

The Greens at Hendersonville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This is a full-time nursing leadership role in Hendersonville, NC, with growth potential toward DON and regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN license.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience required.
• Previous leadership, Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and support nurses and CNAs.
• Promote exceptional resident care and positive clinical outcomes.
• Monitor clinical documentation, assessments, and care plan compliance.
• Support infection prevention initiatives, quality improvement programs, and survey readiness.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, workflow management, and team accountability.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary departments to enhance resident outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Help build a positive, engaged, and high-performing nursing team.
