This position oversees clinical supervision within the nursing department to ensure high standards of care are maintained according to policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations. The Assistant Director supports the Director of Nursing and assumes their responsibilities in their absence.

In this role, the Assistant Director of Nursing will:

• Supervise clinical operations to ensure high standards of care in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support the Director of Nursing and act on their behalf when necessary.
• Assist nurse managers with nursing care decisions.
• Serve as Infection Control Practitioner, QA, and restorative lead.
• Coordinate educational programs for the nursing staff.
• Participate in Medicare and insurance assessments, including worksheet completion and condition evaluation.
• Monitor MDS schedules and therapy billing.
• Participate in staff hiring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An RN license in Illinois.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least two years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current, in-good-standing RN license in Illinois.
• Strong organizational, time management, and self-motivation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and evaluative skills.
• Proficiency with computers and technology.

Compensation Pay Range:

$86,300.00 - $109,600.00

Reasonable Pay Estimate:

The estimated pay range is $86,300.00 - $109,600.00, with actual pay determined by qualifications, experience, skills, education, location, and internal/external equity.
