Job summary

Viva Senior Living in Rolla, MO is seeking an Assistant Resident Care Director in Nursing Administration to support daily resident care operations and assist the Resident Care Director. Must hold a valid LPN/RN or Medication Technician license, have at least one year of clinical experience, and possess a high school diploma or GED.

English proficiency is required, and you must uphold the Residents' Bill of Rights.

POSITION TITLE : Assistant R esident Care Director

DEPARTMENT : Nursing Administration

REPORTS TO : Resident Care Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

The essential functions of the job for the Assistant R esident Care Director requires , and may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of Viva Senior Living to include, but are not limited to the following:

Must possess a valid LPN or RN license or a valid Medication Technician license /certificate , in good standing in acc ordance with laws of this state, from an approved State Nursing School of Nursing. A minimum of one (1) year of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required .

Comply with standards of business conduct in accordance with federal, state and local health and regulatory standards and guidelines, as applicable.

Must possess , at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED

Must be able to work well with peers in a congenial work environment, and above all, maintain the utmost compassion and dignity to the residents and adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights.

In exigent circumstances, the employee may be subject to call back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather,

evacuation, temporary staffing shortages, etc.).

Must adhere to Viva Senior Living’s attendance policies and follow the terms and conditions of employment as set forth in the Employee Handbook.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Must maintain the highest standards in caring and servicing the needs of the residents and residents' family members and loved ones.
