Job summary

Sunrise Residential Treatment Center in Washington, UT is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our trauma-informed team for adolescents aged 12–17. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, on-site at 3585 S Camino Real, Washington, UT 84780.

Responsibilities include managing a small caseload, providing individual/family/group therapy, and coordinating discharge plans with families. We value evidence-based practice and a collaborative, holistic approach to care.

Qualifications

• Licensed or associat e credentials as Social Worker or therapist (CSW/AMFT/ACMHC or LCSW/LMFT/LMHC).
• Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or closely related field (MSW/CSW/MFT).
• Two years of experience as a therapist in clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to pass a state background check and credentialing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small, intentional caseload (6 clients) with emphasis on family engagement and parent coaching.
• Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy using trauma-informed modalities.
• Create comprehensive discharge plans with youth and families for continuity of care.
• Maintain clinical compliance with timely documentation and MTP standards.
• Deliver client-centered, culturally competent therapy tailored to adolescents and families.
• Apply modalities like DBT, TF-CBT, ACT, and Seeking Safety to support progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists/physicians.
