Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services seeks direct support professionals for the Tamayo Program, a group home for adolescents. You will relate to youths, join them at academic events, and support family reunification and medical visits.

We offer training opportunities, PTO, insurance, and holidays. A Bachelor’s or HS diploma with experience is required, plus a valid driver’s license and a commitment to positive, safe care.

Qualifications

• Requires either a Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED plus three years of experience working with children/adolescents.
• Active driver’s license in good standing is required.
• CPR, First Aid, Nurtured Heart, Safe Crisis Management and Ukeru training provided by Legacy.

Responsibilities

• Relate with adolescents, understand their life experiences, and build rapport.
• Attend and accompany academic events, outings, and medical visits.
• Use positive reinforcement and crisis de-escalation as needed to keep youths on track.
