Job summary

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks an Adolescent Residential Therapist for PRN weekend coverage at our Bradenton, FL facility. The position requires a Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling, a current Florida license

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling.
• Current Florida license such as LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LMFTI or LMHCI is required.
• One year direct clinical experience with children/adolescents in therapy; familiarity with trauma-informed care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group, individual, and family therapy as scheduled.
• Prepare Psychosocial Assessments within required timeframes.
• Oversee case management and discharge planning components of the Master Treatment Plan.
• Develop appropriate aftercare plans and coordinate community support.
• Report any abuse of patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure quality care.
