Job summary

AMFM Healthcare, through Mission Prep, is seeking a Primary Therapist for our adolescent residential program in Minnetonka, MN. You will manage a caseload of 6-8 teens and their families, delivering individual and group therapy to support recovery and growth.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in a relevant field, active licensure, and experience with EMDR. This full-time, exempt role includes comprehensive benefits and an on-call schedule as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• AMFT, ACSW, APCC credentials (licensed therapists also accepted); active registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Experience with EMDR and working with adolescents in a clinical setting (preferred).
• In-person services at a residential facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical evaluations, biopsychosocial assessments, and client diagnoses, with interpretive summaries.
• Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans and case management strategies; provide referrals as needed.
• Offer therapeutic interventions, including crisis counseling, for individuals, groups, and families.
• Facilitate individual psychotherapy sessions and group therapy.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation of treatment progress.
• Collaborate with utilization review for pre-certification and concurrent reviews for insurance authorization.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings to ensure efficient clinical operations.
• Adhere to organizational standards, legal requirements, and professional ethics.
