Job summary

Mission Prep Healthcare, part of the AMFM Healthcare family, is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician (Community Coordinator) in Minnetonka, MN. This full-time role supports adolescents aged 12–17 at residential treatment facilities, coordinating daily activities and ensuring a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's preferred.
• Background check: Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and other Federal/State background checks.
• Valid Driver’s License: 3+ years driving with requirements for insurance.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, stand/walk, navigate stairs.
• Related experience may include: Mental Health Technician, DSP, RADT, RBT, ABA Technician.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transport clients to daily activities and ensure safety.
• Utilize intervention and communication skills with clients, families, and staff.
• Adhere to Joint Commission policies and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with nurse and clinical team on medication management and documentation.
• Maintain residence cleanliness and a safe environment.
• Engage with clients to foster a connected community.
• Document activities and medication use in the electronic health record.
• Observe and report client behavior and participation in treatment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and patient safety procedures.
• Orient new residents to safety drills and evacuation routes.
