Job summary

Muir Wood Teen Treatment in Riverside, CA is hiring an experienced licensed therapist for our adolescent residential program. You will carry a full clinical caseload and serve as second in command to the Clinical Director, providing guidance and clinical support.

This role offers a clear path toward future clinical leadership. You will supervise early-career clinicians, participate in leadership on-call rotations, and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, educators, and residential staff to

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree required (psychology, counseling, social work, or MFT).
• Active CA license: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, or PsyD and eligible to supervise.
• 3+ years in adolescent residential treatment or similar setting.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading clinicians.
• Strong background in trauma-informed care and family therapy.

Responsibilities

• Carry a full clinical caseload—individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents and families.
• Serve as trusted partner with the Clinical Director and clinical team.
• Lead clinical decision-making and provide leadership coverage in the director's absence.
• Supervise AMFT, APCC, and ASW clinicians working toward licensure.
• Support therapists with case conceptualization, treatment planning, and family work.
