Job summary

Northern Ohio Recovery Association (NORA) is seeking a Youth Counselor in Cleveland to provide behavioral health and substance use treatment services to adolescents and their families. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family counseling.

This full-time role reports to the Program Manager and requires a Master’s in a behavioral health field and Ohio licensure (LSW, LPC, or LICDC).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field required.
• Active Ohio licensure (LSW, LPC, or LICDC) required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with adolescents in behavioral health or related fields.
• Must maintain licensure and CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to adolescents and families.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans per regulations.
• Conduct behavioral health and substance use assessments.
• Coordinate referrals and linkages to community resources.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
• Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
• Collaborate with schools, families, and juvenile justice agencies.
• Participate in supervision and professional development.
