Job summary

Premier Services of Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide 24/7 on-site coverage for a 12-bed adolescent PRTF.

The nurse will oversee medication administration, monitor physical health, conduct metabolic screenings, and collaborate with the PRTF psychiatrist and Medical Director. The position requires an active NC RN license, completion of an RN program, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• RN program completed and NC RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year experience in behavioral health care recommended, but not required.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop cooperative relationships with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 on-site coverage for a 12-bed adolescent PRTF.
• Oversee medication administration and monitoring; coordinate with pharmacy and psychiatrist.
• Coordinate physical health, metabolic screenings, vitals, and restraints oversight as needed.
• Collaborate with PRTF psychiatrist and Medical Director on medications/evaluations.
• Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation per PSOC policies.
• Contribute to crisis de-escalation and communication improvements.
