Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital in Youngstown, OH is seeking a PHP Therapist to join our full-time team. You will conduct individual and group therapy, participate in treatment planning, and provide family session counseling to support patients and their networks.

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and utilization review within a mission-driven, employee-focused environment that values growth, continual learning, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling (MSW/MSW-Licensure or equivalent).
• Current unencumbered clinical license per state requirements.
• CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment.
• Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
• May be required to work flexible hours.

Responsabilités

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
• Displays active involvement in treatment planning process.
• Provides family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.
• Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
• Works well with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members.
