UofL Health, Inc. in Louisville seeks a Mental Health Tech to support adolescents in psychiatric care. You will work nights (7 PM–7 AM) under an RN, helping maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and assisting with care, documentation, and transport.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, internship/EMT or MA training preferred, and CPR certification. Vitals, patient safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of inpatient or emergency psychiatry or related experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or in progress.

Responsabilités

• Monitors and maintains the therapeutic environment.
• Identifies and helps stabilize crisis situations.
• Transports patients and accompanies them during tests.
• Assists with admission and discharge procedures, and with seclusion/restraint when needed.
• Performs vital signs, oxygen saturation, and basic nursing support.
