Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse II for Adolescent Services on the 2nd Shift. This part-time 24-hour position provides inpatient nursing care, medication administration, and care plan coordination per standards of practice.

One year RN experience and MA licensure required. Shift is 2:45 PM–11:15 PM on Week 1 (Tue, Wed, Sat) and Week 2 (Sun, Tue, Fri); overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing principles and practice.
• Experience with mentally/physically/emotionally challenged patients preferred.
• CPR and IV certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participates in nursing care for adolescent inpatients.
• Administers medications and maintains accurate records.
• Develops and updates nursing care plans with staff.
