Qualifications

• Two years post graduate work experience in mental health with adolescents preferred.
• Two years direct practice and/or training in individual, family and group therapy.
• Master's degree in a mental health field from an accredited college or university.
• Current certification or licensure by the State of Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or supervision pursuing licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work expertise to hospital-wide programs.
• Deliver social services in assigned areas according to patient needs.
• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and follow IOP guidelines.
• Assist with discharge planning and linkage to community resources.
