Job summary

iaedp is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to monitor and assist adolescent clients in a residential milieu, lead activities designed to help residents adjust to living in a community setting and help them gain skills to manage their eating disorder. The role includes 32 hours per week with a mix of day and evening shifts and every-other-weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with one year of Mental health experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mental health field with 0-1 year of experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to drive.
• Previous direct mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment.
• Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks and provide support during outings and recreation.
• Engage, challenge, and support residents; report observations and document in charts.
• Monitor bathroom use per client treatment direction; monitor and document exercise.
• Enforce policies with residents and complete hourly room-checks.
