Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Education: Identifies learning needs and educates patient/family as appropriate.
• Evaluation: Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to review outcomes and plans of care.
• Implementation: Delivers complex patient care with attention to safety and discharge planning.
• Leadership: Supports unit goals, communication, and cost‑effective care.
• Patient Assessment: Prioritizes needs and plans for discharge.
• Planning: Coordinates with families and resources to update the plan of care.
• Research: Engages with current literature to improve practice.
