New Hope Treatment Centers in Butner, NC seeks a Lead Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership and oversight of nursing services for adolescents in a high-acuity, secure behavioral health program. Lead RN coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team and ensures regulatory compliance and trauma-informed practice.

You will supervise RNs and CNAs, oversee assessments, med administration, and physician orders, and collaborate with the PMHNP on medication management and monitoring.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current unrestricted North Carolina RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to pass required background checks and DJJ/NCH training.

Responsabilités

• Provides clinical leadership and supervision to RNs and CNAs.
• Oversees nursing assessments, care plans, meds, and orders.
• Provides clinical consultation for complex medical/psychiatric cases.
• Collaborates with PMHNP on medication management and labs.
• Oversees medication storage, pharmacy coordination, and reconciliation.
• Responds to emergencies and directs nursing response.
• Reviews documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Participates in treatment planning, audits, and risk management.
• Promotes trauma-informed, youth-centered nursing practice.
