Job summary

Horizon Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Coach to bridge daily residential milieu with clinical treatment for adolescents. You will focus on engagement, emotional regulation, and individualized coaching to reinforce treatment goals.

You will work with the clinical team to apply trauma‑informed strategies, maintain the therapeutic environment, and ensure seamless communication across shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches to client engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and emotional-intelligence skills.
• Proficient in de-escalation techniques and crisis prevention.
• Accurate EMR documentation and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Engage and coach adolescents, translating treatment plans into daily interactions.
• Collaborate with Therapists and Clinical Directors to support progress.
• Lead or support groups and therapeutic activities to reinforce goals.
• Document observations and outcomes in the EMR within required time frames.
