Job summary

EMPACT-SPC (La Frontera Arizona) seeks a Behavior Management Specialist to support adolescents and families in homes, schools and community settings. You will apply behavior management techniques, facilitate groups, and collaborate with the Child and Family Team while maintaining timely documentation and deadlines.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, AZ DHS/BHS BHT preferred, one year of relevant experience, fingerprint clearance, valid AZ driver license, and reliable

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BHT level per AZDHS/BHS preferred.
• Experience with at-risk adolescents preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a relevant setting.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with families and teens.
• Experience with RBHA children system preferred.
• Able to work with multiple systems and families in crisis.
• Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility.
• AZ driver license with clean record in past 3 years.
• Regular access to reliable transportation.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
• Must be 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with a focus on behavior management for adolescents and families.
• Facilitate groups and activities to promote independent living and healthy community participation.
• Work in homes, schools and community settings as needed.
• Collaborate with teams serving families within the Child and Family Team process.
• Adhere to deadlines, medical records compliance and performance requirements.
• Some evening hours may be required.
