Job summary

La Frontera Center Inc. in Apache Junction, AZ seeks a Behavior Management Specialist (EMPACT) to provide direct in-home, school, and community support focusing on adolescents and families.

This full-time role requires BHT level (preferred), experience with at-risk youth, and strong communication; fingerprints and AZ driver license required. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; some evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• BHT level preferred per AZDHS/BHS.
• Experience with at-risk adolescents preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a behavioral health setting.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with families and teens.
• Experience with children in DCS care preferred.
• Must have fingerprint clearance or eligibility.
• AZ driver’s license with clean record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with a focus on behavior management.
• Work with adolescents and families in homes, schools, or community.
• Facilitate groups to promote independent living and community activities.
• Collaborate with Child and Family Team processes per Arizona principles.
• Maintain deadlines and accurate medical records.
