Job summary

Community Care Of West Virginia Inc. is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate to provide individual psychotherapy and evidence-based counseling to adolescents and adults in accordance with governing standards.

You will develop and implement treatment plans, assess patient needs, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for coordinating care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution recognized by the WV Board.
• Provisional license from the WV Board of Examiners in Counseling.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients and families in care planning focusing on behavioral, clinical, social and environmental needs.
• Conduct psychotherapy and other clinical services under supervision of licensed professionals.
• Provide direct care management to high-risk populations and consult with the care team.
• Document treatment goals, progress notes, and billing; submit authorizations per standards.
• Link patients to local community resources and improve access to services.
• Promote interdepartmental cooperation and participate in committees as required.
