Entripy is seeking an experienced Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) Developer to own architecture, maintenance and new feature development for our e-commerce platform. This hands-on role requires you to drive production code and review quality while guiding AI coding agents.

You will work on Magento integrations, platform patches, performance optimization and deployment workflows, collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to map scope and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) development.
• Strong PHP (7.4+/8.x) and Magento 2 architecture knowledge.
• Experience integrating Magento with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools to plan and implement production code.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day oversight.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend a customized Magento 2 codebase — custom modules, plugins, themes, and third‑party extensions.
• Manage integrations with ERP, fulfillment, and payment systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Handle platform patches, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Direct AI coding agents to plan and implement features, while reviewing all code and owning production quality.
• Improve deployment workflows and environment consistency (staging/production).
• Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders on scope, timelines, and tradeoffs.
