Job summary

Harlem Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in Harlem, NY. The ADNS will assist the Director of Nursing Services, participate in staff development, and help ensure high-quality resident care.

Requirements include a valid NYS RN license, knowledge of long-term care regulations, and strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Previous long-term care and Point Click Care experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing Services in day-to-day administrative functions.
Monitor and maintain the infection control procedures and policies of the facility.
Review and revise care plans and assessments.
Make written or oral reports to necessary personnel.
Make rounds of the nursing service department to ensure staff perform duties.
Monitor absenteeism to maintain adequate staffing.
Maintain a liaison with residents, their families, and other departments.
