Job summary

PG&E in Rocklin, CA is seeking an ADMS Specialist to support operation and maintenance of the Advanced Distribution Management System, including building and commissioning of field assets and aiding end users. The role is a career/journey-level position with SCADA/ADMS assignments of moderate risk and autonomous planning.

This role is hybrid, with expectation of being at the control center 2x/week, collaborating with ODS, EMS, and System Automation, and testing changes with IT support.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience or technical training; experience with SCADA/ADMS or other Control Systems.
• Two years of experience working with SCADA/ADMS or other Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• May assist in updating policies and procedures.
• Provides support to operations to monitor performance of existing equipment.
• Assists in identifying, evaluating and resolving problems associated with the SCADA/ADMS system.
• Test, build and maintain SCADA/ADMS control systems and services associated with Electric distribution SCADA/ADMS.
• Work closely with ODS, EMS, and System Automation to build and test SCADA/ADMS.
• Supports the maintenance of PG&E's distribution electrical model used by ADMS.
• Assist System Automation and Telecom on SCADA/ADMS projects.
• Provides on-site and remote support as needed.
• Provide support in testing, diagnosing and resolving problems associated with the ADMS system.
