Job summary

The Cognizant US network team in South Plainfield, NJ invites a Network Architect - ADMS to lead design and create comprehensive technical documentation for the ADMS Hardware Upgrade Project.

You will develop detailed network architecture diagrams, define secure communication paths, draft firewall rules, document IP addressing/hostnames, and perform failure‑mode analysis to ensure reliability and real‑time performance across OT ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Enterprise network architecture experience including LAN/WAN, routing, and switching.
• Experience designing networks for real‑time or mission-critical OT systems.
• Ability to document architecture clearly and proactively identify risks.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed network and system architecture diagrams for ADMS components.
• Define secure communication paths, draft firewall rules, and support security design.
• Document IP addressing, hostnames, LAN/VLAN segments, and routing requirements.
• Lead testing and analysis of failover, redundancy, and real‑time performance.
