Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Network Solutions Architect to drive the design and delivery of IT projects for our Utility Technologies Solutions team. Based in South Plainfield, NJ, you will develop network and security architectures, integrate firewall designs, and coordinate testing with ADMS stakeholders.

You will lead modernization efforts for utility-grade networks, work with Cisco routing, switching, and security, and ensure compliance with NERC CIP and IEC 62443 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of network architecture experience required.
• Strong experience designing firewall architectures and segmentation strategies.
• Experience building and integrating Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Experience developing network architecture diagrams and technical design docs.
• Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity frameworks and secure network design principles.
• Experience coordinating testing, deployment, and validation across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design new enterprise network environments using Cisco routing, switching, and security technologies.
• Develop comprehensive network security architectures, standards, and roadmaps.
• Design and document firewall architectures, security zones, access policies, and segmentation strategies.
• Create detailed network diagrams and implementation documentation.
• Lead modernization projects from architecture through deployment.
• Coordinate infrastructure integration across network, server, cybersecurity, and application teams.
• Support deployment and commissioning of OT and ADMS environments.
• Develop test plans, validation procedures, and implementation strategies for network and security solutions.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and readiness activities with ADMS teams.
• Perform security assessments, risk analyses, and architecture reviews for compliance.
