Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp seeks an engineer to join the Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) group. You will work on OMS, DMS, and advanced applications, supporting testing, documentation, and enhancements across ADMS products. Collaboration with DCC Support, IT, GIS, and field teams is essential.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering (ABET-accredited), with 2+ years of engineering experience. PE or FE (preferred) and familiarity with SCADA integrations are advantageous in this role at

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program
PE license or ABET-equivalent with advanced degree acceptable
FE certificate preferred
Minimum of 2 years engineering experience required

Responsibilities

Support design, testing and enhancements of core ADMS applications
Document testing, troubleshooting and product enhancements
Assist with new product releases and system updates
Coordinate with IT and other groups on configurations and enhancements
Support field operations during normal and storm conditions
