Job summary

Ameren is seeking an intern to support ADMS operations, data modeling, and reporting. You will assist system operators and IT personnel while gaining hands-on experience with BI tools like PowerBI, SSRS, and OBIEE. Training, documentation, and backlog analysis involvement are essential parts of the role.

Applicants should be pursuing a CS/EE-related degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA and be available for a structured internship in St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 is required or expected.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and user support to system operators, division office workers, division engineering, and IT personnel.
Provide training and documentation when needed/requested.
Aggregate and model data to assist in reports and dashboards in BI tools (PowerBI, SSRS, OBIEE).
Analyze, recommend, design, plan, test, implement and support ADMS.
Perform system/data analysis, design software enhancements, test system functionality, and maintain configuration settings of ADMS applications.
Enable smart grid applications including SCADA, Power Flow, Fault Locating, Switching, Outage Management.
Perform root cause analysis and develop action plans for backlogs; lead implementation as needed.
