Qualifications

• One year of responsible work experience in a hospital registration position or closely related field.
• Proficient typing skills (minimum 45 wpm).
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling patients via telephone or faxed scripts.
• Obtaining authorizations and referrals.
• Verifying insurance and demographic information.
• Confirming patient appointments and prep instructions.
• Maintaining productivity by processing Methcare labs and pre-registering patients.

Education
