Responsibilities

  • Participates in the admitting team to provide a comprehensive, coordinated and seamless service to patients.
  • Assists the patient through the registration process, obtains current and accurate demographic and insurance information.
  • Verifies participation in managed care programs as well as authorization for hospital service with primary care provider.
  • Collects required fees and co-pays.
  • Verifies status of insurance and determines amount to be covered by private carrier.

The campus is comprised of a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Job Details

Salary Range

USD $26.92 - USD $33.65 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
