Job summary

The University of Kansas is seeking an Admissions Representative to recruit and enroll high-quality students. This role focuses on building strong relationships with prospective students, families, and school counselors, using in-person and virtual interactions to communicate KU programs, processes, and services.

Located on the Lawrence campus, the role requires extensive travel within assigned territories, occasional evenings and weekends, and collaboration with a dedicated admissions team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required at time of appointment.
• At least 3 months presentation experience (evidenced by coursework, extra-curricular activities, or professional presentations).
• Strong written communication skills as evidenced by application materials.
• Experience as a KU student, as evidenced in application materials.

Responsibilities

• Recruit future Jayhawks in a defined territory using in-person and digital strategies; meet and exceed goals.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze data and devise recruitment plans and strategies.
• Advise students and families on admission and scholarship requirements and transfer guidelines.
• Manage multiple communication channels to respond to prospective students and families.
• Plan and manage travel, events, and budgets to support recruitment goals.
