Job summary

Smith College is seeking an Assistant Director of Admission to recruit and evaluate prospective students. You will use Slate to create events, outreach communications, and support CRM functionality for the Office of Admission.

You will participate in admission committee work, interview applicants as needed, and contribute to the Slate team while supporting the Women of Distinction program. Travel and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–5 years of experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, CRM platforms; knowledge of Slate CRM and Workday preferred.
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, and public speaking skills; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and evaluate prospective students across geographic territory; plan up to six weeks of travel annually.
• Read and evaluate applications; participate in admission committee decisions.
• Craft emails and communications; build events and surveys using Slate CRM.
